The state insect is the Nine-spotted ladybug (ladybird beetle) (Coccinella novemnotata). There is a state flower (rose), a state tree (sugar maple) and a state fruit (apple), but no state bush....

Ny doesn't have a state bush yet - only Texas anf Florida have state bushes ;-)
