Is Tony Blair Scottish

He is not really Scottish, he is however of Scottish descent. He was actually born in Edinburgh, Scotland, but spent his early years in Adelaide,Australia. The family returned to Durham, England and Tony went to a private school in Edinburgh for a few years before moving to London to try to be a Pop star.
So as you can see he has little connection with Scotland, and some Scots who don't live in Edinburgh would think he had no contact at all. He represents a North England constituency.

Unashamedly so. As are Alistair Darling, John Reid, Charlie Falconer and Gordon Brown. Over representation of the Scots in Westminster is the constitutional mess bequeathed us by an incompetent meddler, the Reverend A.R.P. Blair.

Blair attended a posh public school and was, thus, Anglicised. He may sound like an Islington toff (which gave him electoral appeal) but Blair is a Scot.

He is and I'm glad to say most of his government seem to be. It's justice, we get our own parliament in Scotland and leave a Scottish government in England.
