I have read it but the most it really says about preparing for war is that the children go to war to watch the older soldiers fight. The children watch from the back and if need to get away, they are on horse back and with guides. The book really does not say but all about the children is in book 5 but I have not read past that and I don't think that the book really says how they prepare.

Quotes? Don't you have the book yourself? Do your own homework.
