I think the simplest answer to your excellent question is: let go of our fear.

Alot of the time my skepticism is just because i do understand thing things.

Skepticism in my case is a result of being taken for a ride once too often, being told a story just for the purpose of benefitting the other party or just having suffered from my faith in human nature.

Nothing wrong with a healthy dose of skepticism to me. Too many have ulterior motives and don't care for the consequences of their actions. This applies to individuals, corporations or even governments alike.

Being skeptical has its advantage points at time.

If you believe everything that came down the "pike" then you will be taken to the cleaners and your money will depart you like P.T. Barnum said, "there's a sucker born every minute"!

So, I would keep a fair and healthy amount of skepticism, so that you can differentiate between fact and fiction.

Now, too much of it, can just as be dangerous, but if you have smarts, and keep your wits about yourself, and rely on others who have more knowledge than you do, and trust them, then you shouldnt have any problems in life.

I wish you well..

Jesse

We understand things by being skeptical about them. Scientific skepticism is the desire to have any claim proved to a satisfactory degree. This means that we don't waste time with things there aren't actually any evidence for, such as homeopathy.
