or we will destroy the earth."

In this scenario you are starting with less than 500 dollars, but everything else about you is the same. You will never have proof that there was an alien, so you can't use that as a defense if you get caught committing a crime.

How would you get the money? How many people could you justify killing to save the world?

OK, I'm a little disappointed.

Just accept that you need a million dollars to save the world. Who knows why these beings have picked you, and they don't need the million, they just want to test you. They don't care about the human race, they will gladly exterminate us as part of their experiment.

All you know is, you HAVE to come up with a million, by any means. There is no way you can show evidence of these aliens. You are NOT going to get out of it.

I realize that people will not part with their money without a good reason, like, being dead, and not needing it anymore...or maybe their are less violent ways to do it...use some creativity (??)

I'd tell the alien to come back with some "comps" because nothing in the immeidate neighborhood was going for anything near that price. In fact, we just wrote Pluto off 'cause it brought down the value of the rest of the system.

1- Aliens probably do not know the value of the currency we use here in America. Why not pounds or rupees?

2- 72 hours..well, which point on Earth are you starting on? You could transfer to different time zones back and forth and make 6 days of it.

3- Why less than $500?

4- Why would you have to kill people to "save the world"?

I would trick the alien and tell it that, in order to get the money, it must show itself to the world. Once he does that, BAM! You run away. But, the government finds out about it and censors it from the media...and news of the alien is never known. You have been held captive in a mental asylum for "imagining" an unidentified being.
So, all that talking to an alien and trying to show it to the world so you can escape goes down the drain--since, after all, you haven't come up with the million dollars and you have bought yourself a lifetime in prison.

That's silly. What would they need with our money? If they were going to invade then surely they would set up their own system which might not even use monetary gain and loss as part of the equation.
