I love Bill O'reilly! In the first place, The O'reilly Factor is not a news cast, it is a featured program meant to be a platform for free thought and discussion about current events. In the second place, what does "creative writer" have to do with your question? He doesn't "write" the news any more so than you do.

Bill O'Reilly skews his news stories as well as the major networks do.

It's an unfortunate situation in which we now find ourselves.

After being subjected to too many slanted and biased news stories emanating from all sources, I believe that the American public no longer believes any of it.

It is almost to the point that we can't call it news; it's propaganda.

What ??
Do you have a point you are trying to make ?
I agree with more than half of what Bill says which in
my opinion , is a pretty good record for a TV journalist...
The O'Reilly show is not a newscast...

Bill O'Reilly is very effective at dealing with controvertial issues. He seeks out interesting stories about injustice and both conservative and liberal bias. Liberals don't like him because he goes after their sacred cows.

He reminds me of a radio newsman of the 1970s who was accused of being conservative but is now recognized as a fair person. And now you know the rest of the story.

Bill O'Reilly has a definite political agenda. I wouldn't call what he does "news", I would call it commentary.

I think Bill O'Reilly sucks. He is a Republician who tries to pass himself off as fair and balanced. Basically he is an idiot.

Yes, but that's true of the entire faux "news" network.

I think some of the respondants may have missed the fact that you were being facetious.

He's arrogant and he leans right on some issues, but he is easily 100% more fair than the liberal talking heads on CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and MSNBC.

I am a die hard Republican and I can't stand Bill Oreilly. I think he has chronic constipation or something. He likes to argue for no reason. It dosen't matter what side his guest is from, he will go the other way. That guy has problems.
