Absolutely!
That is called compromise and is much like the SALT II Treaty we signed with the Soviet Union.
It should be taken into serious consideration and might just resolve this world conflict once and for all because Iran is seen as a leading nation in that region.
Of course due to lack of trust by both parties, in-depth inspectors would have to be a stipulation by both of them in order to make it work... resolve the trust issue.

It makes as much sense as giving North Korea light water reactors for making electricity. Look at where that got us.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran and Kim Jong Il of North Korea both need to be put into place. Israel deals with Iran, and Syria if they are too stupid to take on Israel again. The United States props up Japan and South Korea and together, we 'liberate' those living in abject poverty and oppression under the tyrant dictator il.
Sounds good however, sometimes the successor is worse than his predecessor. That is the case in Iran. The Shaw of Iran had his issues and problems but in retrospect, wasn't nearly as bad as the whack job in there now.
Hind sight is always 20 - 20 right? It's the foresight that is tough.
tinkerbell; Are you ever naive or what? How bout a little kum baya after the first nuke hits American soil?

I wouldn't trust the Iranians any farther than I could throw them. In-fact this goes directly against what they have been saying all along, that: "They want nuclear power for energy reasons, not military reasons"
This statement tells the world that they are wanting nukes for mutually assured destruction. What gets me is that Israel has had nukes for quite some time now and has never used them against Iran, yet Iran still maintains that Israel wants to nuke Iran. This is pure insanity.
It is clear that Iran wants nukes so that they can launce attacks against Israel, and use their nuclear arsenal as a back up plan incase Israel kicks their @$$ like they have in the past.
In other words... Iran launches an attack on Israel, Israel defeats Iran and begins to drive them back into Iran, Iran launches nukes...
The Iranian government is psychotic and homicidal, and the Iranian people need to stand up to their insane president and replace him, before he drags them into a war they can't win.

yeah right, and Hitler said he only wanted the Sudatenlands of Czechoslovakia. You can't trust dictactors, especially dictators that call daily for the destruction of all Jews.
On a side note, Israels arsenal (if it exists) is for deterrence. How many times did Israel use nukes? Irans nukes are for the destruction of a race of people. And will use them as soon as it is expedient to do so. They are not for deterrence, but to further his warped view of the coming hidden imam and annhilation of all infidel in the world to usher in a new Islamic goldern age.. (the hidden imam is probably still a corpse in the bottom of a well, but who knows).
Maybe the US can fly some B2 stealth bombers over Tehran for strictly peaceful purposes, "peacemaking" purposes.

If both Israel and US give up their nuclear arsenal , Iran won't build a nuclear weapon...
But they have the right to nuclear energy,as a country that signed the non-proliferation treaty...

While it is general opinion that Israel has nuclear weapons, it is just that....conjecture and opinions. The Israeli's do not claim to have nuclear weapons.
Ultimately, it wouldn't work. Iran is on a mission to complete and launch a bomb before anyone has the nerve to stop them.

They're bluffing and you fell for it. Notice how they have a new statement each month to keep the world at bay and stall our attempts to stop them.

It would never work, because the U.S. would never ask Israel to give up its nukes.
