i need to know a little abt foundation..

Only if you choose a light foundation. Foundation comes in a wide range of colors from white to very dark. You use it to hide flaws, get rid of dark circles, and just to generally even out the color of the face. Some people like to put lotion on under it. I personally don't. Since you are guy, I'm really curious on why you are asking?

Foundation is a power or liquid used as a place to build the makeup. It can whiten the skin depends on what kind you use...make up like blush is usally applied next on the cheeck bones to give the face definition then mascara then eye liner again to bring out the lines of the eyes. Eye pencils are good also Never never share make up
The colors are used to high lite the hair and clothing you wear you don't want to much just enough to 'brighten' your face. Lip color is like wise the color red for evening but lighter colors for daytime depending on your hair color. Good luck

it comes in so many different shades. You need a tone to match your skin tone, or if you feel your skin is way too white you can go a shade or two darker. If the foundation does not go on smoothly use a dab oflotion on your face first. Many "mall stores" have a makeup department with a professional to help you.

Depends on the color you choose. Most foundations will darken throughout the day when it mixes with your oils in the skin, things in the air,etc. I always use a powder a little lighter than my foundation.

Start with a washed/cleansed and moisturized face. Apply foundation with a sponge until you reach the desired coverage. Blend any dark spots and excess application with a clean sponge. Set with loose translucent powder and a large powder brush. That's it.

yes just use powder a little shade darker than you!! Dont use foundation just concealer if you need it!!
