It only occurs in females because they are the ones who have the ovaries and uterus (which are needed in childbearing). Men do not have these "parts" nor do they carry a baby within them, so do not go through a menses.

The link I've provided goes into greater details.

God has made females to tolerate the pain, stress and emotional tension. Thats the reason why the monthly periods has become a girl thing... Thats the reason why females are more emotionally stronger than males. And of course God has given uetrus, egg, ovary to females.. Many people have answered your question.

Actually, men do have a cyclic renewal of gametes (spermatozoans). About every six weeks, the spermatozoans in the epididymis (associated with the testicles) are flushed out and replaced with fresh spermatozoans from the core of the testes, where they develop.

Because there are no great changes in hormone levels, and there is no bleeding or other outward sign such as women experience, it is not an obvious thing. So we don't think of men as "having a period." But it does happen.

If you don't believe me, look up "epididymis," "spermatozoans," "male reproductive cycle," or "men's sexuality."

Periods (menstruation) occur once a month when a woman does NOT become pregnant. It is the shedding of the lining of the uterus ("belly"), which would have otherwise nurtured the developing fetus (the growing baby).

Periods are significance of breakage of condition formed for embryo,,,,,,,,,,, its a breaking of thickened wall of endometrium,

U can say "Endometrium cries for lack of baby"

when ova doesnt get fertilised,,,,,, endometrium breaks down its thickening which is for supporting embryo,,,,,, all viscous fluids and some about of blood flushed out from female's vagina,,,,,,

hence it is related with ova fertilisation,,,,,,,,,, thats why it occurs only in female not in male

how old are you. most people over 13 / 14 should know this. you are taught it in school. duh.
anyway its coz males dont have babies. every month the body releases an egg and gt ready to have kids. so the lining thickens when the egg in the woman doesnt get fertilesed its relesed with the lining of the womb and blood. thats called the period.

Men can't carry babies. They do not have a uterus, eggs, or anything like that. There would be no point for men to have periods.

...and quite frankly, its a good thing because I would hate to have to sit there and listen to my husband whine and complain about his PMS.
