I have always been a tomboy at heart...i dress girly, but people are always suprised when they get to know me that i burp and fart all the time..play videogames..scratch a little..i don't know how to be girly and have those types of friends...is there something wrong with me

I think there is a difference between acting girly and acting disgusting. I am not that girly but I don't burp and fart all over ther place and scratch myself. You sound more like a monkey.

No there is nothing wrong with you. Just be yourself! I was a real little tomboy when I was younger and then in my teens I turned real girly. Now I just wear what is comfortable and that is mainly jeans and sneakers and a baseball cap!!! I love it when I get occasions to dress up but mostly I think you should wear clothes that are comfortable. I still choose sport over anything deemed as "girly" and my opinion is that we need to be happy with the way we are. God made us that way for a reason! ;)
ps. perhaps it's best not to burp and fart when your in company....might offend ppl!

I am a tom boy, and no there is nothing wrong with that. Scratching, burping and farting all the time does not make wrong or that are you male like in your behavior...it makes you impolite, rude and obnoxious. You don't need to be girly to be polite. I also love video games, but again, I am all girl.....

I don't think it is bad to not act girly. For some ladies it may be to their advantage to be girly.
I don't see how burping, scratching and frtng is a guy thing. Those are just bad manners no matter one's gender.

Sounds to me like you're being yourself.
And you know, that counts more than anything else in this world. It's a petty sight, but one must realize that increasing divorce rates and break ups are inevitably the result of a mask...this idea propagated by the media that you have to be someone else.
But the reality is, you only have to be yourself.

I am the same way and all my friends are guys i dress girly sometimes and sometimes i dress kind of thugish i think that is really cute, and no i am not gay. Keep on being yourself it takes less time and there is nothing wrong with it.
