There are 2 quick thoughts a) Have a instantaneous router b) Have a stressed community hub. the information move in the stressed mode is definitely a lot larger than in the instantaneous mode. we are speaking right here of a distinction of a multiplication ingredient of say upto 20 i.e. the stressed one being waiting to move 20 circumstances the information than a instantaneous one. frequently a instantaneous n/w will suffice for gaming. I have tried upto 4 gamers on laptops for Quake-3 and we had no issues. yet when the video games are more effective huge in images than you need to locate reveal screen refresh issues. Like playing NFS should be an difficulty. the basically right area of achieve this is to purchase a router which caters to both desires. on account that as all of us comprehend the relax of instantaneous n/w is a few thing complicated to allow go via. what i'm suggesting right it really is to %. up a instantaneous router which also has facility for stressed connections. Ex: Linksys WRT54G, Netgear WGR614. those routers no longer actually help you've a instantaneous community yet as well help stressed ones and fee decrease than 40$. So if in the journey that your instantaneous n/w information move isn't waiting to cater to the information speed criteria of the game, you need to basically cord all of them to the router to setup a stressed LAN and luxuriate in a lot larger information move speeds. desire this solves ur challenge. Cheers!

Through wireless (assuming you have both WIFI USB), configure both your wifi as AD-HOC.

And if you want to connect the second laptop to Internet, installed proxy server (like FREEPROXY) on first computer and configure its IP. Then your second laptop, configure your Firefox/Internet Explorer to connect through PROXY (i.e. put IP of your first computer to the HTTP proxy, and port as 8080).
