What does "moj kochany" mean?

It's Polish. (I read it in Chekhov's "Three Sisters.")

This is a Polish expression. It means:
My darling. Or my dear. Although it is used from a male point of view. "Moja kochana" would be from a female view point.

It means "my dear / my darling / my love". The last one is probably the most accurate (hard to say without the context)..
