Everybody thinks they are right in believing that their religion is the true one, I am no exception. But truLY BELIEVING IN YOUR RELIGION is another thing altogether. If you really believe in it but aren't fanatical, if you are a good and kind person, if you are honest and a hard worker, if you are a good example and a role model, chances are you truly believe in your religion.

True religion is following the orders of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. In the Bhagavad-gita the Lord says to abandon all religions and beliefs and surrender to Him. This is essence of all religion. In other words, to surrender to the Lord in humble loving service is true religion.
In this fallen age of Kali there are many concocted religions, but a sincere person will always be given the opportunity for the pure thing. The Lord is seated in everyone's heart as the Suprersoul and He witnesses the desires of us all. When we seriously want to know Him, He makes the arrangement for us to meet His pure devotee, the spiritual master, so we can make further progress.

Religion, it is sometimes said, means "to bind", and I would say it is binding with a spiritual condition, whatever that is. In Buddhism, it would mean meditating toward enlightenment, and being able to see the universe as it really is. In nature religions, it would be connecting with spiritual forces that pervade the natural world. In the world religions it typically means "binding" to a belief system and/or to the concept of the godhead that drives those forces.
Another way to think of it is a world view so pervasive that it changes the way one looks at the world - it redefines experience and reality.

There is no such thing as a true religion, Religion seems to produce nothing but hate for ones fellowman.
People can spend hours in there place of worship, but if they have hate in their heart, are racist, believe that other people are doomed to hell etc.and think that just because they are praying, or witnessing or what have you, that makes them spiritual.
To Me spirituality, is the love inside of a person that they feel in their heart for others.

Philosophically and philologically, religion can best be defined as a belief system, ideally a cohesive belief system, but many aren't all that cohesive. Alack! Thus, a true religion would be any belief system sincerely held and earnestly adhered to. I disagree with the commie who defines it as a drug for the masses--that's just sour grapes, a dismissive way of defining the refusal of others to blindly take 'your' word for It.
Historically, religion is man's answer to the eternal question of Why?
My question is: why do you ask?

Every religious people claims theirs is the true one. But the scripture declares otherwise.
James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

I do not believe in a religion, but I believe a true religion is based upon ones own opinions, therefore there is no true religion. Confusing isn't it?

true religion is experiencing everything
knowing nothing - giving all your attention and every second to reality, not flirting with concepts - keeping up to the second with experience, and letting concepts go - true religion is exhausting your mental nature, dumping thought and taking up with constant experiencing - reality is talking all the time: let your attention wander for a second and you are outofdate, stalled in a passed moment - experiencing is correct use of life, thinking is waste of life - thought does not need you trotting around beside it - thought needs you experiencing, bringing it food - experience is keeping your finger on the wire of life, sending you messages
