When she got it she didn't have to pay for it, but when she got her bill she only had to pay $40.00 a month. Why is that???Will it be the same way when I buy my Verison Wireless Chocolate cell phone?

The amount you pay is based on the plan you choose from the cellular provider. Ask them.

I don't know but maybe call the cell phone company and ask them
