I always itched when I shaved. This past year my husband and I decided to try a Brazilian wax instead. We set up an appointment for the two of us-different rooms and different techs. It was well worth it. It did not itch growing back and the sensation when we were both waxed was awesome.

Shaving isn't really a good idea - you get unsightly stubble and ingrown hairs within 2 days, so it's not worth it. It's the ingrowing hairs that make it itchy, and no it isn't true!! Don't forget, male facial hair and pubes are very different!
You could try waxing. A salon bikini wax gives the best results, but if that's too scary or intrusive then wax strips are for sale at most pharmacies, drugstores and supermarkets. It doesn't hurt as much as you'd think, honest!
If you don't think you could bear the pain, then use a depilatory cream. Smooth the cream on where you want the hair to be removed, wait the required amount of time (usually about 5-10 mins) then wash off. You'll be smoother for longer, with no ingrowing hairs.
You could also try laser treatment. You can buy at home kits at places such as Argos for about £80. It sounds a lot, but after the first time, it'll never grow back, so you'll never have to worry about it again. I'd try waxing first though, to ensure that you like the bald/tidied look.
hope this helps! take care x

I shaved mine the first time because of a goof during a trim up, needless to say, I keep it shaved all the time now, why, because it enhanced our sex life, honestly!!!
When I asked my gf's about this they all informed me that they shave theirs and for the same reason, I asked them why they never shared the info..... I guess it's a subject not open for conversation in my generation....lol
As far as shaving, remember when you first shaved under your arm, it itched didn't it?? Well, does it still itch, no. You got used to it, your body adapted and the same thing will happen down their, just be care full and watch for any ingrown hairs, they are a bit pain full.

He is right. The first week or two it will itch, but after that, as long as you keep it smooth, it will feel nice. My wife shaves hers and she shaves mine for me as well. Nice and fun, no hairs to get stuck in your teeth either. :-)
BTW, according to an OB/GYN friend, 80% of his patients under 30 shave their pubic. About 60% from 30-40 do also.

Get it waxed professionally and it shouldn't itch.
How does he know the more you shave the less it itches? That's not true. Did he try it. Have him try first.

frequently circumstances a guy will like the sensation of the flesh touch. If a guy enjoys offering oral stimulation the shortcoming of hair or relief in hair will enable him extra get admission to to that component to the female. There are adult males who shave or trim their pubic section for plenty the comparable reason. The pubic area of the two the male and woman are a mass of nerve endings. getting to understand the area and strategies of stimulation can frequently convey approximately a heightened shared journey. in spite of the movements, it fairly is the rationalization that would desire to be seen. If the rationalization is to boost the shared journey, it is one element, yet whilst the rationalization is to demean (make the considerable different act invariably in an submissive and degrading function) there could be some considerable matters the extra advantageous considerable different desires to handle professionally. Intimacy is a sharing journey, frequently couples will upload extra spice (clothing, oral, anal or different stimulation) that they seem to discover provides exhilaration to the 2d. that for the time of itself isn't sick. what's sick is once you're taking the delusion and take a inspect to make it reality. There are people who will tutor that something previous the "missionary place" is faulty. And until recently interior the State of Georgia (the place I stay) there became a regulation that prohibited something yet missionary. If a pair desires to play act it fairly is component to a healthful relationship, if the act is mutually agreed upon. Any act will become damaging as quickly as we come across the mutual sharing of intimacy replaced with the help of one guy or woman's prefer to regulate yet somebody else. as quickly as returned it fairly is not the action however the intenition or the cost of the action that would desire to be seen. SC, if this might nicely be a continuation of the different placed up with regards to your spouse, your spouse might have hidden matters you may desire to handle.

You potentially will get used to the itching but it will always be growing back. Maybe you can compromise and just trim it tight and not shave? Depends how bushy you are already. Forest or grassy knoll?

don't do it - read 'the vagina monologues'. there's a story in there about a woman whose husband forced her to shave and how bad it made her feel about herself. it itches b/c the hair is growing back, therefore it will always itch after you shave, wax, nair, etc. b/c the hair will continue to grow back after a little while.
