Im not sure in pa but i know here in michigan the childs opinion does matter at the age of 12 so i would assume that at 13 even in pa that there opinion counts. Best answer i can give you is to call a lawyer and ask that question they can give you the true scoop.

I don't think that the child would have the say in the case but usually their voice is heard and considered when making the final judgment. All of the factors have to be accounted for, safety of the child and where the child is going to have the best chance to the best life possible.

I think a 13-yr-old is definitely old enough to be able to have some input. How sad that her parents are putting her through this.

the 13 year old MUST get to the judge with their feelings even if they have to stand up in court ,ask to be heard privately the judge should grant that!

they are still a young child.
they may be asked but they do not have a say in the matter.
