Some meds lose their potency and others get stronger on dangerous levels is what I hear. Call your doc to make sure that bottle of meds is still good.

of course there is an expiration on medication. Have you tried looking at the date of such on the bottle genius?

Heres an easy way to know if the xanax is still working. Try one.

Medicine is usually still safe for approx 1 year after the date you get it filled. I wouldn't trust anything more than that.

yes--it does lose its strength and yes there is an expiration date on there--was it not in a bottle?? look again because if it was prescribed for you or someone in your household then there is a date on there! how else would you have known it was 3 years ago?

Yes there is an experation date on meds...I took some advils that were expired in 2004 and they didn't help at all.

no it does not meds expire after 1 and a half years get rid of it its better to be safe than sorry

yes.. medicine looses potency after so long. medicine really doesn't expire. it just looses potency. Expiration dates are only on there because of FDA regulations.

Meds usually only last one year from the date of them being filled.
They are designed to break down after that.

yes there is an expiration date on the medicine, if you use it after it may have negative effects and may not be as potent
