I wish to change my internal cd/rom drive to a combination unit. I need technical info such as operational manual, any modifications to the tower in order to accomidate th drive, how the drive relates to the monitor, any software prgram I need to install, how I download music and video directly from the monitor,can I use double sided RW DISCS,and any other ? I didnot adress here.

very simple to do, just take your old one out and put the new one in, no special applications are needed, just make sure that you plug your audio cable in from the drive to your motherboard

I think you need to learn a little bit more about computers. The files aren't stored on the monitor. They are stored in the computer. Or get someone else to help you. Hands on.
