you forgot the groupies...even the Sith have groupies (Mara Jade, ETC)

Each master has only one apprentice. They live like hermits (like Ted Kaczynski) Where as the Jedi are more of a community (like hippies)

There are plenty of party crashers and wannabes.
That livens things up.
I hear the seminars are a bit dry though.
