Preface: Something to consider, before taking over or meddling in other people's work, or contradicting them.
1. The point is to be helpful when asked, but do not do the work for the child, or adult. If you do, you deprive them of valuable learning experiences and the feeling of accomplishment when they are able to troubleshoot for themselves. Everything has a learning curve.
2. It's impolite to correct people publically, unless a life-threatening situation is involved. In that case, you take the lead hands down!!!
3. You may well just be contrary in nature. Someone says something, and you contradict them. It's just a matter of perspective and opinion in that case. But, can be annoying to the other individual if they are excited about something & trying to share it with you & you put the kabosh on it.
4. Also, consider that people do things according to their lifestyles, which may be dramatically different than yours. While your advice on how you do something may be perfect for you, it won't do for their situation.
5. Unasked for advice is meddling.
Good luck and warm regards.

Simple, seriously, keep your mouth closed! You may have excellent input OR the answer- but just "bite your tongue" and leave your lips closed UNLESS someone specifically requests that you tell them all you know about a subject!
Good luck!

Just don't talk when somebody says something that you know something about. Keep it to yourself. Here's a little poem.
You're learning when you listen,
You're learning when you look,
You're learning when you stop and think,
And when you read a book,
You're learning when you're sitting down,
Standing up, or walking,
You're learning something all the time,
Except when you are talking!
I hope this helps!

maybe by just listening and keep yr opinion to yourself sometimes, because most of the time when people have problem all they wanted is someone to listen to them not to judge them or be there shrink.

it is hard to not be yourself, i understand that, but maybe when asked a question between you and friends you can wait and answer the question last.
