find the best lookin girl you know who is a good dancer and ask her to teach you.
check local health clubs, community centers, adult ed depts, etc for "hip hop" classes

Go to the disco with some friends, relax, feel the music, dance! If you want to learn some specific dance (tango, salsa, etc) join some club where people dance for fun. I recommend the following movies: Shall We Dance?, Dance With Me, Honey, Dirty Dancing. The ability to dance is in you, all you need to do it to reveal it by some practice! Once you learn to relax and let the music lead you you'll find how much fun dancing can be!

The best and cheapest way to learn how to dance is watch the pros on music videos and copy them.
