Sounds like you need to update a couple of drivers. First, your Java driver. Head over to http://www.java.com and download the latest Java version. Install it, and restart the computer.

See if that solves the issue.

If not, update your video driver. The video driver is a set of instructions that tells the screen what to display. If the driver is older, it may not be able to keep up with the latest software demands.

To find out, RIGHT CLICK the MY COMPUTER icon. Select PROPERTIES. For most versions of Windows, click the tab marked DEVICE MANAGER. (For Windows XP, click the tab marked HARDWARE, and then the button marked DEVICE MANAGER.)

Scroll down the list until you see VIDEO ADAPTER. Click the plus sign next to it. A new line of text will appear. Click that line of text. Click the tab marked DRIVER. Check the date.

Next, go to the website where your video adapter was made (www.radeon.com , www.s3.com , etc) and locate the latest driver they have available for download. Compare the date with your adaptor.

If theirs is newer, download and install it.

Restart the computer. You should be good to go.

Good luck! - Stuart

beta is the under development version and is put out so people can try it. it is also the version many use for the purpose of finding the bugs in the program. report your problem to micrsoft as they may not have a patch, or are unaware that a problem is occuring. if i were you i'd go back to the puchased version, and wait for the explorer seven versiomn to come out commercially before getting it. any program in beta version is for testing outside the developer environment so other programmers and future users can find as many bugs as possible so the developer can fix them before putting the program on the commercial market.l

Any beta version of any software may have this problem. Roll it back to IE 6 or uninstall and reinstall windows default.

Before installing any beta version, try search review on the net.

When this happens try the following:

Start -> Run -> Type "cmd" -> Click Ok.

In the black box that opens up type:

"ipconfig /renew"

Exactly as above without the quotation marks.

Now press enter.

This will renew your internet connection which should solve the problem.
