Unless you have an older model computer, (and I mean dating- back-to-Atari-older), you should be just fine playing FIFA 2006 on your computer. Just make sure your computer has all the necessary requirements to support the game, especially memory.

To run and install my Linux that came in LinuxFormat magazines, I bought some DVD palyers, for about $14.99 each, locally.
Very cheap! Now I can run the LiveDVDs and LiveCDs of Linux!
