I don't think there is necessarily anything 'wrong' with him, but even for his age, I think once a month is way below average. Maybe he has a physical problem that he is trying to hide by claiming to be too tired, or not interested. Has he had a physical lately? Sexual desire really is different for different people, and believe me, I know from experience how frustrating it can be when your desire is higher than your husbands. Of course my husband is an ex now, but there were other reasons besides that. I think the important thing is to not blame yourself. It sound's like you've done your part as far as 'spicing things up'. You could suggest counseling, and tell him how frustrated you've become. Other than those suggestions, about the only thing I could suggest would be a good vibe. ;)
Best Wishes,

I think sex once a month is below the normal rate that we should do.. Even my grandpa an 70 year old who married his third wife can do better than that.. Try making him watch porno movie together or strip for him.. If he still not getting horny after that I suggest him to go see a doctor...

It can be the stress, but at his age he probably isn't producing much testosterone anymore, have him get checked out by his MD. There are supplements he can take that will help. I wouldn't recommend the synthetic testosterone that the doctor can prescribe though, they turn into raging D@@@'s the first week they get the shot every month.

stressors contribute a lot to poor sex life. lessen if you must.
good heavens he's not cheating...
you can't go having sex with other guys if sex is the only purpose... no. be true to him.
it'll come on him. i don't know when. but keep up the spicy things you're doing.

Check for porn addiction. He would still have a drive so he is venting some how. Does he want dirtier things then you enjoy?
Just some things to check/consider.

It would probably be a good idea for him to have a physical exam by a physician considering his age.
