Hi Everyone,

I am in a 12 team league. I have the number 1 overall pick in the draft. Would you trade your 2nd round (24th pick) and 3rd round (25th pick) for the #7 pick overall and a 12th rounder?

Thanks,

Brad

giving you #1 and #7 overall? yes, in a heartbeat i would do it.

make sure you take 2 RB and worry about the rest later. the other guy won't pick until #18, that's crazy.

there's a big difference - despite what was said above - between the #7 overall and the 24/25 picks. At #7, the worst you can do is get Edge/Ronnie/Rudi/Steven Jackson. At 24/25, you're looking at Chester Taylor and Anquan Boldin - good players, sure - but I'll take the stud RB at #7.

the only reason i would avoid doing this trade is because the talent pool after the top 4 picks is even almost throughout the first 2 rounds....almost as even as to say that the last second round pick could be equal to the 7th overall. thats my take. i dont think it is worth giving up 2 good players for one that is slightly better and one that is remarkably worse

I don't even know how you can do that; but, I would keep my picks.
