YES! I would love to be married! I have always been a committed person in all my relationships whether we just met or not. Committment is definately something I look foward to since I have been having a problem getting someone to committ to me. Now a days it seems like every guy wants a friends with benefits relationship. I am a beautiful considerate person and would love someone who is the same to me.

I wouldn't get married just to have those things! I married my hubby after 5 1/2 years. He wasn't the one dragging his feet, it was all me! If we were to divorce tomorrow, would I want to get married again just so I could wake up with someone & share a life? No. I could do that anyway without that piece of paper. Having someone to wake up to & sharing a life together is not the reason people get married! There's more to it than waking up together & sharing a life. There's all the little things that come with it. It's like living together with a marriage license! All those little things that bugged you about him/her before you got married, are still going to be there after you get married. When you get married, every choice & decision you make no longer affects just you. It affects both of you. It's a 24/7 job! Both giving 110%! If you're not willing to commit 110% to a marriage, don't get married. It's the hardest job you will ever have to do in your life! Marriage is the foundation. What you do within that marriage builds the rest of the house. Kids come & go, but marriage is always there. After the kids leave home, you better hope you have a solid foundation to fall back on. The longer people are married, the more complacent they become. After the kids leave, it's just the two of you again. Hopefully, you have continued to "date" each other over the years & "romance" each other over the years. Hopefully, you've stayed connected. If not, and the path you are taking is not the same as his/hers, it's time to re-evaluate to see if you both want to head down the same path or take two different paths. Hopefully, the same path would be the decision you both chose. When the time comes to get married, make sure you are doing it for the right reasons.

Sorry I am already married to the man of my dreams and its wonderful to wake up to him when we get that. He is a soldier and sometimes deployments, training etc take him away.
Hugs from a Loving Mom to a Brillant, as well as beautiful 8 year old Jared and Our Angel, Zachary (taken to soon but who will always remain in our heart) ~ Mel

i'm in the hotel industry where i see so much of couples having their wedding banquets in the hotel. the tea ceremony (for chinese) and the march ins are so touching when the bride and the groom meets, while the wedding montage is played.. all these things gimme the urge to get married but the fear of the presence of third party in the marriage jus conquers all my faith for marriage away
