usually i baby is not ready by doctors terms until 40 weeks. If you are going to a doctor and and he has set your due date then they will go by that date for when the baby is to arrive. some doctors will induce labor if you are over a week later after due date. relax and labor will come.

Ok, first of all stop having sex, period hun. You are only 16 and now you have a big responsibility in bringing this baby into this world. Walking does help alot, for both of you. However, this baby will get here when he or she is ready, not because you are. I don't want to sound mean and please don't take it that way. Your first labor can be a scary time because your body is going to go through so many things but it is also a wonderful time. Just try to stay relaxed and enjoy something that only a mother can and that is the life that you have inside you. I know it's rough at the very end of pregnancy but hang in there, you'll be okay.

No and it could be dangerous to the infant. Normal pregnancy is 40 weeks plus or minus 2 weeks. Unless you know 100% when you got pregnant, you could be off by as much as 4 weeks that could put your infant premature. This could be very bad for the infant. Taking cod liver oil will cause your electrolytes to be off, and can cause intense cramping, sexual intercourse will not hurt unless your water has broke, then it can cause an infection. Walking is good because it straightens the muscles and gets you in better shape to tolerate delivery. You will also heal faster and recover faster. Be patient!!!! When it's time it will happen. But trying to force nature will bite you back.....

you should not take very hot baths in the last trimester you risk raising ur internal body temp and possibly harming ur baby the reason that taking a hot bath induces labor is it causes fetal distress and ur body trys to protect the fetus by getting it out the safest way to induce labor is to have sex or go for a long walk but DO NOT have sex if your water has already broken or is leaking you will run the risk of infection good luck!!!

baby....3 words for you..NO HOT BATHS!!! Not good for the baby. And you are only 39 weeks. Take it from a mom who went to 42 weeks, the baby will come when its good and ready.

Try to relax and be patient. The baby will come out when it's time.....they all do. The baby is MUCH easier to care for right now inside you than when it comes out. Try to relax and enjoy the last few days of your pregnancy.

YOU'RE SIXTEEN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

*Clears throat*

There's no sure way to get rid of a baby, but a hot bath could help. (Also, spicy food and castor oil, both of which speed metabolism and flush out the stomach)

Remember, there's a chance that the baby just isn't ready. Also, your age makes pregnancy dangerous.

Nope. Nor will hanging storm windows, painting the ceiling or falling down the cellar stairs. Your baby will come when it is ready. And that's a good thing. Please don't try to interfere with a natural event.

no...you don't want to raise the baby's body temp...it could cause problems

unfortunately there's not a whole lot you can do ...just keep walking and keeping active but don't overdo it
