Don't rush. Make sure you lather on the conditioner or shaving creme that you use. It'll make such a difference in the outcome and you'll have totally smooth legs! But really...take your time. Nothing great turns out if you rush.

Are you using gel? With shaving gel, you don't get cut as often as shaving cream. Make sure the surface you are shaving is flat, for example, bend your knee when you shave because it is flatter and smoother. Move your razor in an upward motion slowly and gently. Also, moisten your legs before you shave, like after or during a shower. Good luck!

Always use a thick lather before shaving. Be sure to take your time! There's no Olympic event for speed shaving. And be sure to NEVER use a dull blade. Consider using a razor with protective wires (Silk Effects worked well for me, but I have since switched to Venus) that minimizes cuts and nicks.

Take your time, NEVER go fast. They sell razors that work on sensitive skin, and also sensitive skin shaving cream. You could also soak your legs in hot water to let the hairs be softer and easier to shave.

be careful. make sure you dont slide to the side. that is a very easy way to cut yourself. what i use (i havent cut myself using it) is the Intuition razor. it is the one with the soap around it. it works great and i get super smooth legs. just remember to replace it every couple of uses cause it is soap so it gets used up quickly.

Make sure that your razor's not dull. A dull razor can leave many cuts because you have to press harder to make it work.
Also be sure to apply lotion after you shave. If your skin is not moisturized it will lead to more cuts
Hope this helps

We would advise you to get a good electric shaver that's shower safe, that's what we use and it works great! They don't cut you at all! Try that and you'll be cut free!
