Probably something like 1 gajillion. I don't know what it would be called, but it's not 1 billion. Yes, 1 x 1 = 1. But 10 x 10 does not equal 10, it's 100. 100 x 100 does not equal 100, it's 1000. So, 1 billion x 1 billion would be the equilvalent of 1 billion, 1 billion times. Whatever that is called :)

When multiplying two numbers that have zeroes on their ends, multiply the numbers (without the zeroes) then write the number of zeroes to get the product.

Example: 200 × 40 = ___
2 × 4 = 8, then there are three total zeroes on the end (two from 200 and one from 40).
200 × 40 = 8000.

For your problem, you have 1,000,000,000 × 1,000,000,000
1 × 1 = 1, then write 18 following zeroes.
It's 1,000,000,000,000,000,000.

[Note: If you're from the UK, use the proper number of zeroes applicable there.]

Its not a billion it is whats called a quintillion. If you multiply 100 times 100 you don't get 100. Its the same with big numbers the order goes million, billion, trillion, quadrillion, quintillion, sextillion, septillion, octillion, nonillion, decillion

1*10^9 = 1billon so
1*10^9*1*10^9=1*10^(9+9)
1*10^18
That is called quintillion.
