I think that would depend on who win the mid term election. History is written by the victor, If the democrats win congress Bush will more that likely be impeached if the republicans win congress again then he will end up like their hero, just like Reagan.

Only history can judge, that and the propaganda machine, which is why we will have to wait. Bush has done a great deal of good things since he has been in office, far too many to mention here, but if you are interested in a no spin list follow the link below.

I don't know what he will be picked as, but i personally think he's an idiot!! Just look how he speaks, each sentence he says has ten mistakes in it!! And look what he's done to the world, the world liked America more from before bush then now. And he doesn't have any policy! I think the US was better off with Clinton cos he had policy.

That depends on whether or not there will be a next century.
If there is one, some might say this proves that he has been a dismal flop.

I don't think he's either a great leader or a dismal flop..... he's just middle of the road, boring. A president that won't be remembered after just a few years down the road.

There's no question but that he will be considered THE worst President ever. The assessment will be that he was a simple man unqualified for the job, who recklessly pursued risky and extreme policies, with disastrous results. There's not enough time to list them all, but perhaps the two worst will be 1) inheriting a huge surplus and creating record deficits, leaving future generations with a crushing burden of debt; and 2) Ruining America's standing in the world, even among allies, with a wrongheaded, unilateral, arrogant foreign policy that made us LESS safe in the long run. He created more chaos in the Millde East and more enemies with a fiasco of a war in Iraq that had NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with Terrorism.
What he did "right": 1) Winning the loyal, uncritical, mindless support of Fundamentalists who don't care whether his policies work or not. All they care is that he's a "Godly man!" who luuuuuuvs Jeezuz!, and 2) Surrounding himself with unprincipled, machiavellian, but effective political consultants like Karl Rove, who helped him win despite his proven incompetence. Like it's been said, Republicans can win but they can't govern.

I think you should tell us your tax bracket before we answer this... if you're a rich white man from Texas (1%)-- he is great leader for he created many programs including profitable war and tax breaks to ensure your money for years to come. Your private business has been in his back pocket for years.
If you're like 64% of the rest of the country, you can't believe how stupid we look and are ashamed to have this man still in office.
The other 45% of you who live in the red states, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I hope you have better judgement next election. Now go to the time out chair until then!

A dismal flop...he wanted his legacy to be the war in Iraq, he wanted to be known as a "war president", well, he's getting exactly what he wanted. He's the president in a war that is more convoluded and futile and more unwinnable than Vietnam was, and the kicker is...we never should have been there. The time for war with Iraq was the early nineties when his daddy went. We should have only been focusing our troops' efforts in Afghanistan.
