Life is like a mirror which show the face. If ugly persons looks in the mirror he saw ugly face and if a beautiful person looks in the mirror he saw a beautiful face. Likewise for a happy person it is a reality and for a sad person happy life is a myth.

Its a myth if you think it is, it is a reality when you accept that only you can choose what makes you happy. If the things you choose to make you happy are also those which are in your life, then you will lead a happy life, indeed.

Happiness is our eternal nature. So therefore, happiness is our eternal reality. But right now, we don't know our eternal nature. We think we are these temporary, material bodies that we are currently riding in. We are not these bodies. The body is a vehicle only that is destined to die in the near future. When we think we are the body and knowing the body is going to die, of course we may wonder how there could be happiness. This condition is not our natural condition. We are like fish out of water here in this material world. No amount of arranging and rearranging the external conditions of our lives can help us become happy, just as you cannot make a fish happy until you throw him back in the water. We have to get back to our natural condition of eternal bliss and complete knowledge. That is what we are meant to experience. To return to that kind of life means we must give up the desire to seek the limited so-called happiness here in this material world and seek the unlimited happiness of pure devotional service to the Supreme Lord. The purpose of the human form of life is to wake up to our eternal spiritual nature and understand our relationship to the Supreme Lord. In our relationship with the Lord, we enjoy unlimited bliss eternally. This happiness is eternal reality. Happiness in this material world is a myth.

Depends of your expectations of "happy life" if you are over it, so it's a reality otherwise it is a myth.

Happiness is easy, it's not being distracted by the minutia of daily life that is difficult, but very possible. Ironically, life-threatening illness or an accident that could have caused death often make people realize "Whoa, that could have been it. I guess the rest of my life is gravy!"
In reality, nothing is important. We don't really matter to anyone except ourselves, our families, and our friends. Happiness comes from within, not without.
Note to Mcclean:...I'm afraid the facts are that unhappy poor people generally turn into unhappy rich people if they come into a lot of money.

It's everyday routine for some and a myth far beyond reach for many more. You see, happiness is the reward one recieves when passing A TEST. Almost every one of us is surrounded by an obscurity of darkness, despair and sorrow. The test is whether or not we can fight the darkness and reach beyond it. Some choose to accept the darkness that surrounds them and to accept the world of despair they believe is the only world that exists. But others search for happiness beyond the darkness and choose to deal with all their troubles and not accept them and let them plague them. Those who choose to deal with their problems head-on find happiness, while some even have happiness the moment they're born (wealthy families), although they have problems too.

It's a myth - if by "happy life" you mean one that's ALWAYS happy.
There's going to be an admixture of happiness, sadness, regret and rejoicing in any life.
So, it's only "on balance" that you could evaluate whether a life was mainly happy or not.
And, as the ancient Greeks remind us: "Call no man happy until he is dead."

It is a mental state. If you accept what you are and what you have become and progress to the best of your ability and accept that--instead of never being content with what you have achieved--then you will never happy. It is a reality if you can be happy with what you are able to achieve. This does not mean that we should be content and not try to achieve more out of life.

It is a possibility, is all. And the secret is not to have lots of money, or lots of friends, or lots of anything.
Happiness is something you learn to do for yourself, a state of mind that fully savors the good things and good times of life, even when lots of your life may not be going well. So, if you don't have a happy life, follow the old adage: stop and smell the roses, no matter the vicissitudes that come with them.
