Can be many different things. I suggest you go to
http://www.pcpitstop.com/pcpitstop/default.asp
and run the test it provides. It will look at your computer and give you colored flags when it is done. Checkered means no problem in that area, yellow means alert, and red is a serious problem. Click on the flags and see what it tells you to do to fix the problems. My guess is your cache is set to high and you have too many temp files or spy ware. Just run the test, the program is not harmful to your computer, and takes less than 5 minutes to finish. Let me know if you have any questions.

Depends - are you on a fast or slow [DIALUP] connection.
If you are new to all this, then you probably are not using any "acceleration" software, like Netscape, or NetZero.

What they do is have all web pages "filtered" through their site, and depending on the setting YOU choose, they de-res the images, making them look fuzzy or 'like a bunch of little blocks'.

The vast majority of web sites like to use extremely high-resolution pictures [1280x1024 or higher] and these take a VERY long time to download - wasting a HUGE amount of time. It even affects FAST connections!!!

If you already have something like this, then you should do 'computer management', like empting the cache, defrag the drive, clear out the pre-fetch, and other things. Use the HELP on your PC to find out more for YOUR operating system
