I used to think 4,000 - 5,000 square feet - but after moving in to a 4,100 square foot Victorian - I'm ready to go much, much smaller - I now realize that I have to clean all that square footage - it's not fun. I'm definitely revising that number to 3,000.

THESE PEOPLE HAVE NEVER CLEANED HOUSE!!!!
I have about 2k, and that is plenty for my wife and I. It cost money to maintain, heat, cool, decorate, etc..
Unlike the dreamers here, I have a checkbook with a finite balance. Reality is a (insert epitaph here).
