It's called a doppelganger. Or at least the ghostly image of a person is.
Or twins.

Actually to tell you the truth it is very possible and amazingly I found mine 2 years ago when I moved back to England. Only difference is that she is a she, but it was the resemblance and things we had in common that drew us to each other and people actually asked if we were twins, so we just went along with that and actually feel like twins now. We even had the same ethnic background (mixed/ but in the exact same race combination). The coincidences just kept getting freakier. Shame we couldn't get along too well at the end but that love is there, the kind you feel for siblings no matter how distant you grow. It was like a connection only twins could share.

Yes, it is quite rare and very coincidental, because when people have same surname but not biological who will have same common personalities but in alternate lives.
I've been told by my classmates I looked like one of other students, the other who looked alike also study art too but in different class and I was surprised after hearing it. The world is small if someone can find other one after all.

I suppose you mean strangers, not twins, triplets, etc. I have seen and heard of it several times. I've met 4 or 5 people around the country who thought they knew me well, but I'd never seen them before. A girl said I danced with her ten days earlier, but I was 2800 miles from where I saw her then. A man thought I was his cousin. I saw someone who was a twin for one of my uncles.

Yes, how many people have you seen that look exactly the same as famous people, so imagine all around the world how many unknown lookalikes there are, they say everyone has a double.

I think so. I personally believe that each person has their own non-biological twin.
