if you mean't it on an HTML form... just add this on the head of your html...



just make sure that you assign an id for your 1st text field...

if you are using visual basic 6.0 programming language then you have to write a code for it at runtime. use .SETFOCUS property.example: (name of input field you want the cursor to go).setfocus. this will help you out.

you need to use the set focus command in your programming language you are using, this command is different for c,c++,vb etc.
