burning is controlled by the owner of the desired prodct, noy by you. many things are free, but many require payment. those that are free may also have a time limit for their use and are usually only partly functional. this is especially true for games, or software under developement or available for a fee for the full function version. read the terms of use for the site before burning. it may be only a trial version and not of much use unless you pruchase the full function software which may or may not be downloadable after payment. it may require it be shipped to you via mail.

You'll need a CD-R/RW drive
You'll need a couple of pieces of software:
1. Windows Media Player (download from Microsoft)
2. Bearshare (download from www.bearshare.com)
Download all the free music you want using bearshare (a peer-to-peer network program that lets people share files with others).
Once you have the mp3 files you want, drag them into your Media Player and burn them as music to a blank CD.

you're referring to Itunes? you can burn any cd you want without having to pay for downloads, you just have to have the files already on your hard drive. I'd suggest getting Nero, a cd burning software. you can burn all sorts of different cds (audio, data, video, etc).

If you have access to CDs, you can copy them to your computer and then burn CDs from the music library you create on your hard drive.

I borrow from the library then use the Nero Smart Start program. It's pretty easier.....and I'm not exactly computer savy.
