Did you know that Earth Day was established to 'educate' people about the possibility of Global Cooling? With that in mind, For all of you Eco-Heads out there, should we have believed you then, or should we beleive you now? In either case, What do you think of the Ice Age, or Global warming on Mars? Is my SUV to blame for these?

Global warming, global cooling, it's all a crock of BS to make people feel they are living thru a pivotal time in the history of man and extract money out of them.

Ever notice all the "scientists" that advocate the need for further study to rectify the "blah blah blah" problem? What a mystery that is ... they are advocating you give them jobs, but stupid people fall for it so who can blame them. People paid for snake remedies sold to them out the back of chuck wagons too 100 years ago, and look at all the get rich/thin/strong quick crap people buy off TV. "Global warming/cooling" is just the same as that bull.

Global warming can initiate a new ice-age. If this ice-age will happen, nobody knows yet for sure. It's quite a slow process, but the first sign that it can happen is there already: The ice-cap on Greenland is melting more than even expected in past predictions, and this is already slowing down the Gulf-stream (the conveyor belt for warmth to the northern hemisphere in the Atlantic). But without global warming , there will be no ice-age either, unless a huge volcano erupts or a meteorite hurts earth in catastrophic way.
Global warming (air/water temperatures and greenhouse-gas levels) has not been on a high level like this for millions of years and it all started since mankind started burning fossil fuels on a large scale.
You can draw your own conclusion about your SUV, but they tend to tip over easily in accidents too. You can help "protect" your kids in your big and safe SUV, or protect their kids (your grand kids) by trying to limit your "carbon footprint". Better safe than sorry. If you reduce the use of fossil fuels, oil-prices will go down too. High oil prices now can almost only be seen in fuel prices, but if the demand will grow like predicted, almost all every-day product will become much more expensive in short notice.
And why am I being called and "Eco-head" just because I don't close my eyes for scientific observations and predictions? And who else should I listen to? The church? Creationists? Or all kind of other people that have no actual knowledge of it and just say "NO" because they don't want to hear of any changes at all by default? To those who say "NO" because otherwise they'd feel guilty for driving their SUV (and the rest of their energy consuming habits)? To those who don't believe in climatological changes because they don't see it happening yet themselves? To those who say climatological changes are normal and so is this one?
Please, wake up and inform yourself. According to latest predictions it's already 5 past 12, and all we can do is try to limit the consequences, but we still don't know what consequences exactly (maybe "just" global warming, or even the ice-age).

They should have done something about it 30 odd years ago!
Hopefully it's not 2 late.
Why do people try 2 denounce the Obvious?

So what about ice-age/global warming on Mars?
We don't live on Mars!
We live on an over-populated planet, with resources grabbing Corporations & Money hungry selfish Business men.
Yes UR SUV is 2 Blame, because it's not just 1 or 2 is it?
Make it 100000000000s & U have a problem!

Just because people were wrong once doesn't mean they are always wrong.

Doctors once believed you should bleed patients who were sick, but I bet you still go to doctors today.

When George W. Bush and Al Gore agree that a subject has been scientifically proven, as they do on Global Warming, it's clearly no longer a matter for political debate.

We need to ignore the recent global cooling because it would embarrass Al Gore. Don't let the facts distract you from New Religion.

The most pollution comes from small gas powered engines. Most landscaping equipment like lawnmowers and the like have NO pollution controls on them! There are lots more of them than SUVs.
