Porn is bad. Plain and simple. Yes, a lot of men watch it, but that's not justification, that's evidence of a broader problem. Internet porn can become an addiction. Doubt it? Search on "porn addiction" in any major search engine. There are hundreds of serious studies, support groups even 12-step programs. There is a growing body of research that suggests that repeated exposure to pornographic images works in addiction along the same neural pathways as cocaine and other drugs. The short answer is that pornography is generally harmful, not benign. You may believe that your husband is engaging in an innocent activity that helps him satisfy a sexual need. In time, however, he will view more and more pornography and, in time, you may not be enough to satisfy him. I've included some resources that I hope will help you arrive at your own conclusion. I assure you, I am not a religious zealot, nor a Christian fundamentalist, or in any way religiously motivated. In fact, I am an unmarried man who has simply studied the problem of pornography addiction. That so many responses to your questions have already come back stating: "oh, all guys do it," and, "don't worry about it" speaks more to how mainstream pornography has become, how accepting we as a culture have become of "packaged prostitution (what pornography really is)" and how broad and deep the problem really is. I wish you good luck in your decision. I wish that pornography were not so widely and readily available that a good wife would ever have to ask this question. How amazing is it that a married woman needs to ask a community "is it acceptable for my husband to watch other women have sex..." When did this become a matter of debate?

I don't think there is anything with watching porn. I would ask him to watch it in the bedroom, if you watch it with him it will probably make you in the mood too. Remember, if you can't or will not keep up with your husbands sex life, there may be someone out there who will. I think you let him know it's ok to come in the bedroom and wake you up. Why not?? it's only a couple times a month.

There's a yoruba proverb that says "What is bad is bad - there's no other way to describe it"
Married or not, Once in a while or everytime, PORN IS BAD!!!
We as a people are so used to accomodating evil bit by bit until we get overwhelmed by it, and this is evident in the pornography phenomenon. Everywhere you turn to, it is porn.
If I had my way, porn would be a long forgotten thing in the world.

I had the same problem, but my husband seemed to be addicted, so I burnt them even his DVDs. Anyway, I guess I'd be okay with it, if it were only once or twice a month. Maybe, you should try stayin' up later once in awhile, He might enjoy it more watching you, and drop the watching porn thing. GIVE HIM A SHOW! good LUCK! ;)

I thinks it's fine personally. Consider the alternative. He could go out and cheat on you. Although some folks might even consider interenet porn or any kind of porn for that matter cheating. But I think it's cool. As long as you are his first choice.

I think that theirs a preoccupation with sex. Thats all so many people think of, while its wonderful, to have sex often, there are times when one of you is sick, tired or just not in the mood, & thats normal. What isent normal are people who have to watch porn, go out & cheat etc..because they may not get it one nite.Sex is'nt everything, consideration, ranks higher.
