As usual, threatening and creating fear, in the minds of Americans and Europeans, as they did in the matters of
Afghanistan, Iraq and now it is turn of Iran.
Bush administration & Media in fact creating fear in the minds of Americans and Europeans, is if Iran is like Godzila or Kingkong, if it is not wiped-off, it will harm. And in fact they are deceiving the public.

Iran, like every other anit-American country (or every country advertised as anti-American), cannot begin an outright war against the United States. Like a bumbling giant the United States is misguided(some might call the leader a moron), but extremely powerful. An attack with nuclear weapons would bring about retaliation that would wipe the Middle East from the face of the Earth, literally, permanently. The threat to America, rarely mentioned by the President and CNN, because there are few effective measures being taken against it, is a small group of well funded extremists getting their hands on a nuclear device.

I'm not necessarily fearful of Iran - I believe our government and the UN would stop them before they committed any serious atrocities. On the other hand, I'm not happy at all with the way our government seems to be trying to go to war with the whole damn world. Talk about asking for trouble.

The military-industrial complex needs us to keep fighting wars so they can keep testing and selling weapons
1- We accuse them of doing what we ourselves have already done.
2- We have shown as much proof of what we say they are doing as we saw about Iraq's so-called WMDs.

i feel that to some extent it is government propaganda, a way for th government to promote war so that we don't seem like the bad guys if we make the iranian people look soo bad. however, it is also the job of the news to make a big deal out of EVERYTHING...this is one of the reasons why things have gotten so out of hand
hope this helps :)
and if you can please sign my guestmap, thanx :)
