"Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It is not proud. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth."

Love is a condition or phenomenon of emotional primacy, or absolute value. Love generally includes an emotion of intense attraction to either another person, a place, or thing; and may also include the aspect of caring for or finding identification with those objects, including self-love. Love can describe an intense feeling of affection, an emotion or an emotional state. In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love, an experience usually felt by a person for another person.

The concept of love, however, is subject to debate. Some deny the existence of love. Others call it a recently invented abstraction, sometimes dating the "invention" to courtly Europe during or after the middle ages (though this is contradicted by the sizable body of ancient love poetry). Others maintain that love really exists, is not an abstraction, but is indefinable; being a quantity which is spiritual, metaphysical, or philosophical in nature. Some psychologists maintain that love is the action of lending one's "boundary" or "self esteem" to another. Others attempt to define love by applying the definition to everyday life. Others still, maintain that "Love is God".

True love is unconditional. I think its not selfish, it is kind, not boastful, honest, and patient. True love is being for that person through the good times and the bad times. Being a friend and a lover. When I saw lover I don't mean sexual I mean loving that person. Both people will have intimate connection on a emotional level. Its more than physical.

True love is a state of spiritual happiness with someone. You feel totally yourself with them..It is a mutual comfort. You always want to be with them and they with you.You communicate freely, you grow together and support each other and if you fight it really hurts but you always sort it out. You are a strong force together and you compliment each other in many ways. You challenge each other at times and you learn from each other. I know this because I married my soul mate and 12 years today. we are still in love.
