the point of dadaism is not having one. It is free thought, so there is not point. The sole object of dadaism is to defy and it asserts on indepence of thought and automatic thinking.

Dadaism isn't supposed to give you enjoyment or have a point. It's just a big F*** YOU to the whole idea of art, or maybe a big FU to the crazy horrible death-drunk world that has made art irrelevant. It's supposed to be shocking and offensive, like walking into a room full of artists and screaming that all art is phony and meaningless. Tristan Tzara was like a post-WWI Sid Vicious.

I am among those that consider as being anti-art. So, it is not worth my while to engage in a dissertation on what may well be called "nothing."

Hi. Dada is fascinating. A book with no words, a poem with no meaning (except those which form in your head), all in all much ado about nothing.
