A few girls went through this faze 10 or 15 yrs ago and now they cant wear clothes that show any skin because the skin has gone wrinkled and the tattoos have gone out of date. Dont you think its a bad idea?

They'll all merge in a hideous mess of inky colour, and names ... what is that about? Plus we're going to have loads of grandma's with tattoos everywhere

That USED to happen but now they use finer more hygenic inks that can prevent tattoos from messing up. Anyway you should always make sure it's not a phase before you get a tatoo but never EVER get a tattoo of a boyfriends name because no matter how much you love eachother you nearly always break up. Only do that stuff with husbands. You can always divorce/break up but it's a lot harder to remove their name from your body when its been engraved there and it's meant to last until the end of time. Sorry I got a bit carried away!!

That's why I got one of the clematis flowers.... flowers are never out of fashion and always feminine.

That's why I got it on the top of my back- the last area of the body to become wrinkled, and I could gain 100 lbs and it wouldn't stratch at all.

That's why I went to a mondo-professional... the lines are petite and femnine so when it does fade, it will just get bolder and better to see.

But I agree that tribal armbands on women and ICP insignias on the chest are in bad taste... in 15 years you won't be able to tell what they are or even show them. I just knew how to outsmart how a tattoo ages.

i've got a few and i dont regret a thing, i have one on my arm that is 15 years old, its a bit ugly, and a bit "teenage angst" but hey, its my body and it is a reminder of who i once was. you should only ever have a tattoo for yourself, not to impress the public.

now pass me the ink!!!

Anyone who wants a tattoo must be cracked. They look horrid and look even worse when the skin gets older.Plus people who have tattoos fall into the stereotypical trap that if you have one you must be of a lower social standing.
It'sa socially acceptable form of self-harming behaviour

Oh.. if gals (and guys) could only read into the future to know what those ugly tattoos would/will look like.. If they did, they would NOT go thru the tattoo process.
