Looking for better ways.

I use portable files for paper sheets.
Zip bags for sticker themes.
And pencil boxes for markers, rulers.

I store scissors, rulers, rubber stamping, etc. in 5 drawer plastic organizer with wheels.

joann's has these great clear files for 12x12 and 8 1/2x11. i use those - organize by theme. for misc, i have a 12x12 box for solids and one for patterns. i stopped using stickers for the most part, but everything else got filed in an accordian file by theme. things that couldn't be stored this way got put in a rolling cart. photos i store in photoboxes, organized by date. i have never had a problem finding anything! but due to having a child i have decided to go digital, the best storage ever - computer folders - sweet!
i still have most of my other stuff though to add dimension. it's still stored that way.

a better way for most punches though is to use a nuts & bolts organizer and tape a punched punch on the outside of each drawer so you know what's in there.

You can by crop bags that have all kinds of pockets and attachments and spaces specifically for scrapbooking items. These are great if you go to crops, you can pack up all your stuff and take with you. And it's great if you are limited on space in your crafting area. Everything can be packed up in the bags when you're not using them and put away in a closet.

You can also buy some paper trays (kinda like those inbox/outbox things) that stack to put your paper in (any office supply store will have them)
also, if you luck across a scrapbook or crafting store that's going out of business you may actually be able to buy one of their paper racks (that's what I have)

I also have a Tool Turn About (made by Pampered Chef - it's just a tool caddy and it spins) that sits on top of my crafting table that holds things that I use most often (scissors, pens, ruler, glue, tape, etc)

You could go to an office supply store and browse through their organizing items and think outside the box. you may find a way to use something that wasn't the way it was intended to be used.

Well first off I don't know what size paper you are talking about is it for a 12x12 book or the 81/2x11. You can buy a crop in style tote and they hold everything. That can be expensive though. Walmart has those plastic 3 high clear storage bins that are nice too. I've even used large manila envelopes for paper sorting etc.

For papers, I usually keep them in a clear file or a file case. But for other things like the decorations I use, I keep them in a plastic case to prevent them for m losing and be destroyed. and I keep all of this in a cabinet or another bigger container so that when I look for my materials, I don't need to go over the house to find where those things are. They are kept together for me not to waste time in getting the materials.

i think you could buy a plastic file big enough to store everything inside.
it's much easier and you won't lost anything.
