The answer to your question is yes. Xanax is a very addictive drug which is why a lot of doctors don't like to prescribe it. I don't know what they prescribed it to you for but I take it and mine is prescribed for anxiety but I take a high dose of it everyday to keep me from being anxious. If you are worried about it talk to the doctor who prescribed it for you. Good Luck

xanax is a very addictive drug. even if the amount of drug is not high enough to cause addiction, it could be a *mental addiction*, you know, relying on it too much. I wouldn't take meds any more than I absolutely had too.

Yes, taking it daily also reduces the current dose's effect over time so you'll need to go higher and higher in dosage for it to work.
