I guess the answer is to choose from How much suffering to you want to experience. More inteligent people I think suffer more. Think about a child in school with a high IQ . The dumb morons are the bullies which fight the Nerds. The dumb moron does not have a clue about the ironey of his behavior.

It is the inteligent person who can leave his own Point of view
the inteligent person can get into the other's shoe mentally to see how life appears to the other.... Who gives to charitys. Those people who have opened their hearts to the plight of others.

I have probably gotten off topic.. let me check the question... oh yeah. the answer to the question is despite the added grief I would rather have the highest IQ possible, I would want the deepest thought. The most insiteful observation about the nature of the universe. The deepest thought about how man can be "Made in the image of God" and what that means as to the nature of God. Also, People with High IQ's can think about their behavior and have more options because they can image more possibilites. Make any sense? My 20 seconds of thought.

I would stick with the high IQ.. Normally, a person with a high IQ would have a greater understanding of what is going on around that person... and/or an appreciation of what is going on.. Knowledge does bring some sort of satisfaction although not in all cases

It doesn't take much thinking about this to answer: a high IQ has clear advantages. You are more likely to live longer, get a higher paying job, get a more desirable mate, etc. I'll take a higher IQ any day of the week... it just makes sense.

If the world is run by high IQ's then what do you think? No brain no pain!

Can you get as excited about a human as a dog can? You meet someone and its so what big deal, a dog meets someone and they are going into raptures, so who really gets more out of life?

I'm curious as to why you asked that question. I guess because for me I cannot fathom anyone not wanting to be very intelligent. I would love to have a very high IQ, then I would love to be able to communicate to all people with that intelligence.

I would want a very low IQ... surely I would be happier than I actually am.

The answer to your question should be very obvious. It's like asking a person," Would you rather be stupid, average, or intelligent "?
Why ? Being intelligent never harmed anyone. The lack of intelligence puts the person at a distinct disadvantage.

Oh Brave New World that has such people in it.
I am glad I'm a Beta. Alphas have to think too hard and Deltas and Gammas are dumb. Yes, it is good to be a Beta.
Shoot. Read your Huxley if you want a treatise on this topic.
