my dalmation mollie (that i thought was having babies) is swimming like she has a weight on her tail! she isn't using her back fins tail....she is eating ,everything else is normal???could she have eaten all her fry? & is still fry full?please HELP!!!!!

please don't stop now...answer me back please...she was in the tank with 1 lyretail mollie(maybe she had the fry) anyway i put the dalmation mom in one of those breeder plastic things (i think they r toooooo stressful)so i put more plants& marbles took her out of that trap...and now she is swimming with a weight on her tail?????(is it bloat)please HELP!!!! THANX!

First of all, I don't think a molly would swim like that just because she ate all her fry. What other fish do you have in your tank? How are they doing? How long have you had your molly for? More detail to your question would help.

I've had fish do this before, it could be caused by stress. I would treat with melafix(liquid med found at petstore). Make sure to follow directions on bottle and remove your carbon when teating so it doesn't absorb the meds.
