Fact One:
The English Premier League is the most followed football league in the world.
Is that an indication that millions around the world have nothing better to do?

Fact Two:
Since having said its stupid for a few thousand people to watch 22 + 3 men chasing one ball:

Can you explain why a few thousand people should be watching one fella knocking a ball over a few hundred yards of grass just to put it into a hole?

Can you rationalise what goes through the mind of the few thousand people watching 2 grown men beat the crap of each other inside a ring?

Can you justifying why a few thousand people cheer on a bunch of people trying to outrun one other, outjump one other, or outthrow one another, or outswim one other?

Can you explain why people get so excited watching 10 men hustle over an hour odd just to repeatedly put a ball through a hoop?

Can you explain why its so interesting to see a group of race cars running through the same track over and over?

Saying football is stupid constitutes to saying all manner of sport is stupid. Don't you think?

The English international team is very boring to watch, they just plod along like accountants. They have never had the flair of, say, the Dutch, or the Italians or the Brazilians. The culture that produces these footballers is very conservative and their play is consequently dull. The only player they ever had that could wow you was Paul Gascoigne.

football is the most loved sport in the world. It brings countries together. Like the man Mike Bassett said, When England win people talk to each other waiting for the bus, talk to each other at work, they even talk to each other on the bus itself
and like the advert, men would be forced without football to talk to women!!! COME ON LIVERPOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ynwa

If you see it as 22 men punting a ball round a field - of course its boring!!

If however, you "support" a team and desperately want one side to win - then its just the best!

So - either get into your local side or take up knitting. Simple as.... !
