I fear death to an extent. I think people fear death because no one really knows what happens when we die until you get there. I think what people when when they say "do you fear death" .. is more a question of the fear of how it will feel to die .. and/or how you may die. Will the process be an easy transition or a painful one ? . I personally see death as a peacful transition. I also believe that we have all lived before in one form or another .. and we / our spirit continues to grow and evolve. Many religions do not agree with me on this topic .. but that is my personal opinion. Good luck ! :)

No; if one fears death, then he or she lives his or her entire life in fear, for no one can possess eternal life. If one possessed eternal life, I believe that it would be more painful than beneficial; you'd see the birth of many close friends and see those same people whither away and die. It would be an extremely depressing experience in my opinion. Anyway, although I wish to live as long as I possibly can, I have no reason to fear death; if death comes to my bedside on the night on which he chose to take me, I'll just stare Death right in the face, look him in the eye (if he has any) and say, "Go right ahead." Or I'll try to make a deal with him. "Say, how 'bout we play a game of chess and if I win I get to live (if you don't get this joke, it's from the Death-related movie THE SEVENTH SEAL)." or I'll say, "Can I say goodbye to everyone I love, first?" I'm sure that, even though Death has the most morbid job out there, I'm sure he'd be considerate enough to grant me a few more hours of time; I believe that Death is an angel (the angel of Death) that had been assigned this task; just about any angel (excluding fallen ones) will be compassionate and considerate enough to do this for anyone who asks. If death comes to me, I wish he'd come slowly, so that I can see him for myself. Of course, this is all symbolic speaking. All in all, I have no reason to fear death; fearing death is for losers. Fearing death is fearing the flow of time and life, and fearing a natural occurrence that occurs constantly each and every hour of the days.

Just for today I will avoid morbid reflection and encourage others to do the same.
When I access the divine source everything is alright no matter what I think, feel or say .
The great I AM is boundless. the space inside of me is bigger than my body.
My mind is selfcenterd and is conflicted about death because of the strongest instinct of human nature, survival of the fittest, and the instinct to reproduce. What keeps us in fear of death is losing something we already have or not getting what we want.

Death is a word that does not really belong in our life. It is used by oppressors to scare us into obeying our masters who'll gladly have us believe that Death is the end of everything. When I live my life as correct as I can, I know for sure that there is more to life. The promise of the Life here after keeps me going through hard times in fact, and the faith that I am as good a person as anybody anywhere strengthens my convictions that i am on the right path.

I'm afraid of dying too early and not leaving enough of an impression on the world. At 20, I don't believe I've quite lived my life yet. There's so much to do. Make money, travel the world, spent a bit of time financially helping and teaching the less fortunate, build libraries. I know I'm a bit too dreamy. Everyone tells me my dream will come crashing down when reality hits. But what's the point of living in a reality where you're not in control of your life? There's just so much to do and so little time. Seeing as I don't believe in heaven or any sort of afterworld, though I've become an avid reader of the Bible, I might as well do all I can in this world so in the last days of my life, I can at least sigh in satisfication and die in peace.

No, but when it comes possibly. If a guy points a gun at you, of course you will fear death (or at least i will), if you are sleeping and suddenly die, then no we don't even know we died... We are actually afraid of the pain of death not death itself, when we refer to death we usually have pain included in it... then again others who fear death is possibly because they feel unaccomplished.

I don't fear death, he's a cool guy with sharp accessories who's just doing his job. I fear what those left behind have to go through afterward.

No I do not fear death. If heaven should exist I'll be refused by Peter I'm sure. Yet I've had enough rejections in job application to know what that feels like, and enough bitterness in me to deal with it maturely. The devil, if he exists, would surely agree with me he is a misrepresented Greek god by the name of Pan, and my appreciation of Greek culture and mythology will sit well with him I'm sure. I would ask if he could send me send me back, so that I may haunt Edinburgh a while longer. Where, as a nasty spirit, I'd be among many friends and an unlimited supply of godfearing tourists that I could drive into the clutches of Pan and Dionysos. Johnnie is often found in Rose Street by the way ;o)

The pain that precedes death is what I fear, yet these days I don't feel much fear at all. No pain!
