yeh they played here because most players are based in europe so it a lot easier and cheaper to play over here. but we do have some good stadiums in Brazil, although u cant compare them to the likes of emirates stadium. one thing I'd like to point is that with 350 million pounds u could build about 7 or 8 top class stadiums in brazil

the actual answer is that both brazil and argentina have set up contracts with european PR companies to arrange their friendlies for the next 4 years. basically its just to cash in on the popularity of the superstars in their respective teams.

thats also why england played argentina in switzerland before the world cup!

Because the majority of the players are based in Europe so its easier for them to travel to England rather than back to south america

it was actually held there because they wanted the two best teams and the two biggest rivals to inaugurate the brand new Arsenal soccer field. 3 x 0....BRAZIL!!!!
