Long distance relationships do work but they are harder then someone that is in the same area. It takes a lot of communication, a lot of trust and patience. When you do have time, communicate a lot with one another.. Yahoo IM - get web cams as well. Start a blog - blog to one another as well, I have a blog on Yahoo 360 that details a full year of my husband deployment, call often, be supportive, understanding and simply be honest at all times.
When you can visit one another..
Trust me I went through 2 years of online dating with my husband, then we got married to 29 days later he deployed, therefore that was another year apart.
Hugs from a Loving Mom to a Brillant, as well as beautiful 8 year old Jared and Our Angel, Zachary (taken to soon but who will always remain in our heart) ~ Mel

Whatever you do, don't move to texas. I'm also from Ma and moved to Texas and I hated it...it's a total culture shock. The people there do everything slow...they're really nice people, but it's was hard for me to get used to.
For now you can chat with her and get on aim or txtx message her. When the time comes you can visit her...she would really love to visit you more.... bring her to Boston and show her how beautiful it is.
Bottom line..... if you're meant to be together....you'll be together. Good luck :-)

If you both are really in love then one of you should probably move. It will be hard to let your relationship advance if you don't. As they say love will find a way, you may need to sacrifice a certain way of life or a job or something else, but it will be worth it in the end. Good luck.

well if you really love her and she really loves you than you guys will work through it and one day you can live together or see each other more but just because your away from each other now doesn't mean you'll will be forever. Just have patience its a test of your love and dedication to each other. You should tell her how you feel and tell her you plan to work through this. HOPE I helped!!

Find someone in the same timezone, kiddo. Long-distance is no way to keep the home fires burning, if you get my drift.
